On Sunday 26 May, the residence of the British ambassador in Santiago opened its doors to the general public to mark the celebration of Chile’s Cultural Heritage Day.

The British embassy has participated in the Cultural Heritage Day for several years, enabling hundreds of people to see the residence of the British ambassador. Students from the Instituto de Formación Técnica Los Leones offered guided tours to over 850 people who visited the place despite the very cool weather. On the occasion, the visitors had the opportunity to meet the ambassador Mr. Jon Benjamin and his cat Condorito.
