Emergency food aid for Sudan

DFID will contribute £20 million to the World Food Programme's emergency food operation in Sudan.

The World Food Programme has appealed for $897 million in 2010 to help 6 million people in Sudan who are in need of emergency food aid. 

The Department for International Development will contribute £20 million to the World Food Programme’s emergency food operation in Sudan.
