Evacuation plane departs Wuhan for UK
The Foreign Office evacuation flight has left China for the UK to repatriate British nationals and others from Wuhan following the coronavirus outbreak there.
The final repatriation flight from Wuhan to the UK has departed from Wuhan, China.
A Foreign & Commonwealth Office spokesperson said:
Our final flight from Wuhan took off at 3:20am (local time) with over 200 passengers on board, including our staff who have facilitated the flight and medics. Alongside British nationals, there are other nationalities on board.
