The Secretary of State for Justice has approved the extension of the tenure of appointment of Maura Sullivan as a non-executive director of Gov Facilities Services Limited.
The Secretary of State for Justice has approved the extension of the tenure of appointment of Maura Sullivan as a Non-Executive Director of Gov Facilities Services Limited (GFSL), from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026.
Maura Sullivan
Maura’s executive career has spanned 30 years in the financial services industry, where she has operated in leadership roles responsible for financial and regulatory reporting and planning, with focus on strategic activity, including business transformation. Maura is currently Chief Financial Officer at Railpen, which operates as Investment Manager and Administrator for organisations within the Railways industry with assets under management of £35 billion. Maura joined GFSL in April 2019, and she is also a Non-Executive Director with the Marsden Building Society.
GFSL is a non-statutory, not for profit, limited company. The role of GFSL is to provide facilities management to prisons in the south of England.
The appointment of GFSL directors by ministers is governed by the GFSL Articles of Association, together with the MoJ/GFSL Framework Document. The appointment is not regulated by the Commissioner for Public Appointments.
