FCO Minister marks 20th anniversary of re-establishment of relations with Lithuania
The 27th of August marks the 20th anniversary of the re-establishment of regular diplomatic relations between the UK and Lithuania.

Foreign Office Minister Henry Bellingham sent the Lithuanian government the following message:
“The UK sends greetings to Lithuania to mark the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the re-establishment of regular diplomatic relations between our two countries. Lithuania has made tremendous progress since regaining independence more than two decades ago in rebuilding a free, prosperous and democratic society.
We look forward to developing further our excellent relations with Lithuania. We are pleased to stand alongside Lithuania as a fellow member of the European Union and NATO.”
