I am pleased to announce that the UK will support a pilot project offering psycho-social support to the children of Al-Abrar school in the Mabarrat complex in Khaldeh. We stand with Lebanon against terrorism, for which there is no justification.’

After meeting Sayyed Ali Fadlallah, Ambassador Fletcher said:
‘I am pleased to have met Sayyed Ali. I expressed the UK’s condolences for the victims of recent terrorist attacks and their families. There can be no excuse for terrorism and violence. I appreciate Sayyed Ali’s role in calling for coexistence and dialogue in Lebanon.’
