We are holding a supplier information day in Cumbria for organisations interested in supporting the NDA’s Direct Research Portfolio (DRP).
NDA research and development: driving solutions, delivering progress
The DRP is a key, high profile part of NDA’s R&D strategy and commissions work across the supply chain to:
- inform the development of NDA’s strategy
- deliver innovation across multiple sites
- maintain and develop vital technical skills
The DRP framework contracts will be re-competed over the next few months. The supplier information day will provide an opportunity for supply chain organisations to hear about the key drivers for each framework and meet with other interested organisations. The proposed frameworks will cover:
- university-based work
- managing waste (radioactive and conventional)
- decommissioning and remediating sites
- managing spent fuel and nuclear materials
