Message of condolence by British High Commissioner to Pakistan, Mr. Philip Barton CMG OBE
The British High Commissioner to Pakistan, Mr. Philip Barton CMG OBE, issued a message of condolence to those affected by the heavy flooding throughout the country
Speaking in Islamabad, Mr. Barton said:
I want to extend my deepest sympathies to the hundreds of thousands of Pakistanis who have been affected by the continuing heavy rains and the flooding resulting throughout Pakistan. In particular, my thoughts are with the families of those who have tragically lost their lives during the past few days. I pay tribute to all those who are either responding to or preparing for the floods, often in very difficult circumstances.
