Foreign Office Minister comments on flooding in Bolivia

The Bolivian government has declared a state of emergency in response to the flooding.

Speaking today the Foreign Office Minister said:

“I am very sorry to hear about the devastation and loss of life caused by flooding in the Pando department of Bolivia. I visited Bolivia in July last year and saw first-hand the damage heavy rain can cause. My thoughts are with those affected, and with the Government of Bolivia as it leads the recovery work.”
