Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond sends best wishes to the Jewish community ahead of Chanukah.

The Foreign Secretary said:

It is a great pleasure to extend my warm wishes to the Jewish Community in the UK and around the world as it celebrates Chanukah, the Festival of Light.

Chanukah reflects the triumph of light over darkness and celebrates success in the face of adversity. I join the Jewish community in the UK in wishing for peace and security for all across the Middle East.
