Foreign Secretary statement on attack on US Embassy, Ankara

The Foreign Secretary, William Hague has today condemned the US Embassy attack in Ankara and offers condolences to those involved.

This was published under the 2010 to 2015 Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government

The Foreign Secretary said:

My thoughts are with the families and friends of the victims of the terrorist attack at the US Embassy in Ankara today. I condemn this attack in the strongest terms. Turkey and the United States can rely on the full support of the United Kingdom as they seek to hold to account those responsible.
