Foreign Secretary welcomes new Government in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Foreign Secretary William Hague welcomed the approval of a new Government for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Speaking today the Foreign Secretary said:
“I welcome today’s approval of the new State-level Government in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Confirmation of the Council of Ministers demonstrates that compromise and leadership can create the conditions for positive change. It is now crucial that the new Government builds quickly on this momentum and acts in the interests of all people in Bosnia and Herzegovina. First there is an urgent need to agree a State Budget for 2011 and 2012 followed by genuine progress on reforms that will enable Bosnia and Herzegovina to move towards future EU membership.”
