Foreign Secretary

Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson said:

As friends and family prepare to come together to celebrate the Festival of Lights, I send my warmest wishes for a very happy and peaceful Chanukah to the Jewish community in the UK and around the world.

This festival is a time of celebration, reflection, and a time for hope and prayer, even in the darkest of moments. May we join in prayer, for peace and security in the Middle East and around the world.

We stand by our commitment to fight against anti-semitism. I am clear that there is no such place for hatred in our society. Together we can build a brighter future. Chanukah Sameach!
