Funding for Eastern Caribbean projects

What kind of projects are we looking for this year?

The Eastern Caribbean Network Regional Fund (ECNRF) is primarily used to help British High Commissions in the Eastern Caribbean achieve the strategic priorities of the UK’s foreign ministry, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. We try to support projects that demonstrate where the FCO can really add value, and where its money can have the biggest impact against its objectives.

Projects must have activity in or involve individuals / institutions from at least two of the following country sets (each covered by a British High Commission):

We are specifically looking for projects in these areas. What kind of projects do we support 2013-14.

What can you do next?

We are keen to hear about what projects you have in mind. If you wish to apply for funding from us please complete a proposal using the correct form and send it to the relevant email address: ukinbarbados@fco.gov.uk, bhcguyana@networksgy.com, or GeneralEnquiries.ptofs@fco.gov.uk.

Please note that there are three different forms, one for projects under £5,000, one for projects under £10,000 and one for projects over £10,000.

Please can you ensure that all required sections of the form are properly completed. Incomplete proposal forms will be rejected.

Please also ensure that you also complete the activity based budget which will explain how much money is required and how this money will be spent.

We are keen to provide funding for projects with a budget of up to £15,000. Projects above this limit are not ruled out, but are less likely to receive funding.

What will happen once I have submitted my bid?

We will review your proposal and inform you if you are successful.

We will then put in place with you the arrangements for the disbursement of funds and the monitoring and evaluation of the project. These arrangements will include submitting quarterly project and financial reports during the implementation of the project and a final report at the project’s completion.
