G7 research security and integrity papers and G7 Virtual Academy

The Department for Science, Innovation and Technology has published two papers on research security and integrity and launched a Virtual Academy with the G7.

The G7 Common Values and Principles on Research Security and Research Integrity paper defines research security and research integrity and the principles that bolster them.

The Best Practice for Secure and Open Research paper highlights the importance of a collective approach to addressing research security and integrity; recognising that governments, research funders, research institutions and researchers all play a vital role in protecting the research ecosystem.

The G7’s Virtual Academy is a resource pool for materials on research security and integrity from all G7 countries. If you are interested in joining this platform as someone with responsibility for research security policies at a research institution or funder, please contact your RCAT adviser through your institution’s research office.
