Godrej Nature’s Basket offers a slice of British culinary delights

Godrej Nature’s Basket is hosting a British food festival in their stores until 5 October, showcasing over 30 select British brands.

Food connoisseurs in Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru can expect an evening of fun and feasting as Godrej’s Nature’s Basket (GNB) hosts a live culinary event celebrating the best of British food and beverages.

GNB is hosting a British food festival in their stores until 5 October, showcasing over 30 select British brands like Twinings Tea, McVitie’s Digestive Biscuits and prized collection of handpicked cheese from Wyke Farms. Not to miss pesto and pasta sauces from British celebrity Chef Jamie Oliver’s kitchen!

To mark the festivities Nature’s Basket is hosting a tri-city culinary journey with celebrated Indian Chef, Ajay Chopra. Chef Chopra has worked with the most sought after names in the British culinary industry including legends like Gordon Ramsay and his protégé Angela Hartnett. He will create eclectic British delicacies like Summer Pudding, classic Shepherd’s pie and the quintessentially British Fish & Chips with mushy peas to celebrate the indulgent world of British cuisine.

The British Food Festival was launched by the British Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, the Rt Hon Sajid Javid MP, in New Delhi on 11 September. The festival coincides with the Milan World Expo 2015 where the UK’s theme is ‘Grown in Britain and Northern Ireland’, celebrating sustainable British food, drink and agri-tech industries.
