Chevening is funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and partner organisations and offers awards to study in the UK for one year on a fully funded master’s degree course.

The awarded scholar of this year is Miriam Anelisse Reyes Sandoval.

Successful Chevening candidates come from a diverse range of countries and backgrounds, but they all demonstrate the passion, vision and skills needed to shape a better world.  During the scholarship, they will have exclusive networking opportunities, and the chance to explore the UK’s diverse culture.

Miriam will study a MA in Strategic Communication at Loughborough University.

After completing their period of study in the UK, scholars and fellows return home and join our global network of over 55,000 alumni.

The Chevening programme is now open from 6 August to 5 November 2024. Find out more on how to apply here www.chevening.org/scholarship/guatemala.
