Highways Agency advises drivers to plan their journey for the Duxford Air Show
The Highways Agency is reminding road users to allow extra journey time during The Duxford Air Show this weekend.
The event, which is being held at IWM Duxford, this weekend Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 September, has already sold more than 23,000 tickets to people.
The Highways Agency is working in partnership with the event organiser and local authorities to help get traffic to and from the event and keep traffic flowing. Anyone travelling through the area is however, advised to allow extra time for their journey, or to plan an alternative route or time.
Nigel Allsopp, Highways Agency Events Planning Manager for the East of England, said:
Although there won’t be any road closures, we expect the M11 at junction 10 to be much busier than normal throughout the weekend.
The Duxford Air Show attracts a large number of visitors to IWM Duxford and we strongly advise road users in the area to plan ahead and allow extra journey time in case of any delays.
