HMA Joanne ADAMSON OBE present credentials to President of Niger

Ambassador for Mali and Niger presented her letters of credence to Mahamadou ISSOUFOU, President of Niger on 17 September 2015 in Niamey.

President Mahamadou ISSOUFOU accepted HMA Joanne ADAMSON OBE’s credentials on 17 September 2015 during an official ceremony in Niamey.

Appointed Her Majesty’s Ambassador for Mali and Niger in August 2014, Joanne now formally assumes diplomatic status in Niger.

She is responsible for the direction and work of the British Embassy in Bamako and the British Embassy Liaison Office in Niamey. Her tasks include political work, trade and investment, press and cultural relations, and consular services.
