HMCTS appoints new non-executive director
Luisa Fulci has been appointed to the HMCTS Board by the Lord Chancellor, Lady Chief Justice and the Senior President of Tribunals.
Luisa brings commercial and digital transformation experience within customer facing organisations and has 10 years’ experience operating at board level.
Luisa is Digital, Customer and Commercial Services Director for Dudley Metropolitan Council. Before taking up her role with HMCTS, she also was a non-executive director at East Kent Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust.
Sir Richard Broadbent, Chairman of the HMCTS Board, said:
I welcome Luisa as one of two new non-executive directors recently appointed to the HMCTS Board. I am confident Luisa’s long and continuing executive experience in managing transformational change, digitisation and customer relationships will add great value to the Board.
Luisa will start her new role on 1 April 2024.
The HMCTS Board is responsible for overseeing all aspects of HMCTS’s operations.
The role of non-executive directors is to contribute to the effective performance of the Board by:
- monitoring operational performance and identifying potential under-performance
- contributing to and over-seeing the development of strategy
- ensuring high standards of corporate governance
- ensuring that appropriate controls are in place to manage risk
