Hondurans awarded with Chevening Scholarship

Two Hondurans will study in the UK a Masters Degree after been awarded with the British government scholarship programme, Chevening.

This was published under the 2022 to 2024 Sunak Conservative government

The selected candidates went through a rigorous selection process for a programme that awards outstanding scholars with leadership potential from around the world. Both have been awarded with full scholarships that include travel costs, a monthly stipend, and academic fees.

The Honduran students going to the UK this year are:

  • Eva Carolina Salgado Aguilar - MSc in Data Analytics at Queen Mary University of London
  • Fanny Carolina Núñez Soriano - MSc in Social Innovation & entrepreneurship at University of Strathclyde

The Chevening Scholarships are the UK government’s global scholarship programme, funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and partner organisations. Chevening Scholars come from 118 countries worldwide.

After completing their period of study in the UK, scholars and fellows return home and join our global network of over 55,000 alumni.
