Overnight work to improve the road surface on two slip roads on the A50 near Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, starts on Friday 7 March.
The work will replace worn road surfacing and markings, improving journeys for road users.
A50 Catchems Corner eastbound exit slip road, together with the Meir eastbound entry slip road and main eastbound A50, will be closed for six nights from 8pm to 6am (Monday to Friday nights only).
Highways Agency project manager Purnima Kaul said:
The work will improve skid resistance resulting in greater safety for road users. It will be carried out overnight when traffic flows are at their lightest but we would still advise people to allow extra time for their journey.
During the closures clearly signed diversions will be in place. Traffic will be diverted off the A50 at Meir and along the A520 Sandon Road to the roundabout at the junction with the B5029 Grindley Lane where it will take the first exit and head east to rejoin the A50 at the next roundabout.
