Information regarding ETS and approved English language tests
The Home Office’s contract with Educational Testing Service (ETS) ended on April 17, 2014
A Universities UK spokesperson said:
-
“On the 17th April the Home Office confirmed that the ETS licence to carry out secure English language testing for immigration purposes had come to an end and would not be extended.”
-
“However UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI) will currently accept visa applications which rely on an ETS certificate (ie TOEFL) taken before the 17 April 2014. This is likely to be for a time-limited period only to protect students who are due to start their courses in the next academic year.”
