The traditional set-up of keyboard, mouse and screen is outdated.

If you’re a business or academic looking to develop innovations in user experience, Innovate UK is investing up to £1 million in Knowledge Transfer Partnerships.

Our aim is to encourage technology innovation in improving the ‘user experience’ - how people can use machines easily and how interaction can be improved for the user. This competition will fund projects that look at new forms of interaction, such as sensing information, or improved experience such as mobile and wearable devices.

Each KTP consists of a business, academic and graduate partner (the associate) and up to 10 KTP projects of between six and 36 months will be funded.

The deadline for applications is 15 April 2015.

This KTP competition runs in parallel with a competition for feasibility studies which will open in February.
