Interest rate reduction on the Court Funds Office special and basic accounts
Decrease of interest rates for Court Funds Office special and basic accounts from 12 June 2024.
The rates of interest payable to clients the Court Funds Office (CFO) have been reviewed and from 12 June 2024 the following changes came into effect:
- Special account – decreases from 6.00% to 5.25%
- Basic account – decreases from 5.00% to 3.94%
This decision has been made to ensure that the CFO service can be maintained whilst allowing for clients’ funds to continue to be effectively protected and managed.
