This was published under the 2010 to 2015 Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government

On International Friendship Day, the British Embassy in Tunisia is launching a competition to search for the best images which demonstrate the friendship between the UK and Tunisia. We are looking for a broad range of images that are creative, positive and of good quality. These might show a personal friendship, or demonstrate an ongoing cultural link between the UK and Tunisia. In entering, you agree to allow the FCO to use your image on FCO social media channels. The competition is aimed at amateur photographers.

Please check all images are JPG format and a maximum of 2500 pixels wide (if landscape) or 2500 pixels high (if portrait) and a maximum size of 5Mb in JPG format. Images should be in standard RGB colour space.

Participants should email their photo submissions to the following mailbox: ppa.section@planet.tn

Please include the following information in your email:

  • Name
  • Age
  • City
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • When was the photo taken?
  • About the photograph

The closing date for entries is 6 September.

Entries will be uploaded to the Embassy’s Facebook page where fans of the Embassy’s page will have a chance to vote for the best pictures.

This is a regional competition and the winner will compete against the best submissions from across the MENA region and have their work displayed during key events in London.
