IPA and the City of Buenos Aires signs MOU

The Infrastructure and Projects Authority and the Government of the City of Buenos Aires signed a Memorandum of Understanding within the visit of an Argentine delegation to London.

Carlos Sersale, Argentine Ambassador to the United Kingdom; Fernando Straface, Secretary General and Foreign Affairs of the City of Buenos Aires; Tony Meggs, Executive Officer of IPA; Abel Fernandez Semhan, Undersecretary of Finance of the City of Buenos Aires; and Mark Kent, British Ambassador in Argentina.

The Infrastructure and Projects Authority (IPA), part of HM Treasury, and the Government of the City of Buenos Aires, signed on Tuesday, 7 November, a Memorandum of Understanding that aims at strengthening policy dialogue within the area of Public-Private Partnership and promotion of steady economic growth. During the visit to London of an Argentine delegation headed by the Mayor of the City of Buenos Aires, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, the authorities of both Governments committed to share experiences and best practices for the preparation, assessment and approval of infrastructure projects.

Ambassador Mark Kent participated in the signing of the Memorandum together with the IPA authorities, the Executive Officer, Mr. Tony Meggs; and the Secretary General and Foreign Affairs of the City of Buenos Aires, Fernando Straface.
