Ivan Rogers' visited Dakar to showcase British Prime Minister's agenda for Africa
Ivan Rogers' outreach to Senegal was aimed at identifying how the G8 can work with African countries to make progress across the agenda.
Mr Ivan Rogers, the Prime Minister’s Sherpa visited Dakar to showcase the PM’s agenda in particular for Africa under the UK Presidency of the G8. David Cameron has emphasised our commitment to promoting open economies, open governments and open societies in order to support enterprise and deliver economic growth across the world. This means working together with Africa to achieve shared prosperity and examining more honestly how the wider economy we all operate in, and the rules and standards that shape it, affects African countries’ own development.
