Kairos report and flyer published

Capsize and sinking of fishing vessel Kairos 70 nautical miles west of the Isles of Scilly.

Our accident investigation report into the capsize and sinking of the twin-rig prawn trawler Kairos in heavy seas 70 nautical miles west of the Isles of Scilly on 18 May 2015 is now published.

The report, available via this link, contains details of what happened and the subsequent actions taken.

A safety flyer for the fishing industry has also been produced summarising the accident and detailing the safety lessons learned.
