Knighthood conferred on Oliver Heald
The Queen has been pleased to approve that the honour of Knighthood be conferred upon Oliver Heald MP.
The Prime Minister requested the honour be granted following the recent government reshuffle, in recognition of Oliver Heald’s longstanding public service to the country.

Oliver Heald MP
Oliver Heald was appointed Solicitor General in September 2012.
He served as a minister in the Department of Social Security from 1995 to 1997.
He is the Conservative MP for North East Hertfordshire.
