The British Embassy Chisinau organised the third edition of Summer School for Young Leaders «Взлёт»: “Take Off” programme, from 7 – 12 July 2013. The participants, 24 young political and civic activists from across the Republic of Moldova, including Transnistrian region and Gagauzia received training in debating, problem solving and project development.
The programme, which comprises Summer and Winter schools and informal mentoring, is a platform for active young people to develop leadership skills such as strategic thinking, problem solving, teamwork, communicating and influencing. It is also an opportunity for young people from communities on both sides of the Nistru to reduce the communication gap, meet and learn about each other and their communities, and potentially to develop joint projects.
