Latest employer survey results show high satisfaction with providers

The results of the latest employer satisfaction survey are out and show widespread support from employers for providers.

  • 78% of employers satisfied with the quality of training and assessment
  • 80% of employers would recommend the provider to prospective employers

The survey brings together the views of more than 60,000 employers between March and July 2016 and showed that 80%, up from 77% last year, of employers would recommend their provider to prospective employers and 78% of employers are very satisfied with the overall quality of their training or assessment provider, an increase from last year’s 73%.

Employers, who participated, also rated the professionalism of staff delivering their training or assessment with more than 80% scoring their providers 8 out of 10.

Also scoring highly, was employers’ rating of providers’ understanding of their training needs, with 76% of employers scoring their providers 8 out of 10, and the delivery of training courses reflecting up to date practices in their industry sector, with 79% employers scoring their providers 8 out of 10.

Employers who participated in the survey were delivering apprenticeships and work based learning in everything from construction to horticulture to animal care.
