Launch of Ethics in Practice: Promoting Ethical Conduct in Public Life
See the video of the launch event for our Ethics in Practice report on Monday 14 July.
The event began with a thought-provoking key note address by Michael Ignatieff, Professor of Practice of Politics and the Press at the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University and Centennial Chair of the Carnegie Council on Ethics and International Affairs. This lead to an engaging discussion amongst the panel members and the audience. Issues covered ranged from the concept of ethical guidance for MPs and public office holders, the role of ethical leadership, through to the nature of ethics in political life.
