Lord-Lieutenant for Berwickshire: Jeanna Swan

Mrs Jeanna Swan DL is appointed as Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant for Berwickshire.

The Queen has been pleased to appoint Mrs Jeanna Swan DL as Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant for Berwickshire to succeed Major Alexander R Trotter who retired on 20 February 2014.

Mrs Swan was a senior partner in a large veterinary practice in the Scottish eastern borders region. She has been a trustee of the MacRobert Trust since 2001. The trust distributes funds to other charities for worthwhile projects. Mrs Swan is currently serving as a Deputy Lord-Lieutenant for Berwickshire. A member of South Lammermuir riding club, Mrs Swan is also interested in farming and the local community.
