Lord-Lieutenant for Suffolk: Clare, Countess of Euston
Clare, Countess of Euston is appointed as Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant for Suffolk.
The Queen has been pleased to appoint Clare, Countess of Euston as Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant for Suffolk to succeed Lord Tollemache following his retirement on 13 December 2014.
Biographical notes
Lady Euston has a long track record of service to some of the most vulnerable in society. She has served as Deputy Chair of the Suffolk Community Foundation, Chairman of St Nicholas Hospice, President of Age Concern Suffolk and Vice-President of the Foundation for People with Learning Difficulties. She has also chaired the Suffolk Strategic Partnership Board and is currently President of the Suffolk Agricultural Association. She breeds Suffolk Punch horses and Red Poll cattle.
Lady Euston lives near Thetford in West Suffolk and has one son, the Duke of Grafton, and four daughters.
