Lord-Lieutenant for Worcestershire

The Queen has been pleased to appoint Lt Col Patrick Holcroft as Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant for the County of Worcestershire to succeed the late Michael Brinton.
Biographical Notes
Patrick Holcroft served nearly two decades in the Grenadier Guards before pursuing a City career. He has been a Deputy Lieutenant since 2009, and was brought up in the County. His charitable commitments as a trustee or adviser include the Nuffield Trust for the Forces of the Crown; the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst; the Lloyd’s Patriotic Fund, which supports armed forces charities; and the Hedley Foundation, which supports young people, the disabled and the terminally ill.
Colonel Holcroft lives near Tenbury Wells with his wife, Annie, and has three children.
