Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire: Julie Spence
Julie Spence is appointed Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire.
The Queen has been pleased to appoint Mrs Julie Spence OBE QPM DL as Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire when Sir Hugh Duberly KCVO CBE retires on 4 April 2017.
Biographical notes
Julie Spence was Chief Constable of Cambridgeshire from 2005 to 2010. Since her retirement from the police, she has served as Chair of the Cambridge and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust and as a Trustee of Ormiston Families which supports young people from disadvantaged communities.
Mrs Spence lives in Cambridge with her husband, John.
