The UK Space Agency and the Knowledge Transfer Network are holding a one day technology event focussing on materials for space. The event brings together lead developers from the space community, both industrial and academic, alongside non-space materials specialists. Investigations of new materials and manufacturing techniques are emerging, bringing significant benefits to space technologies by introducing reduced costs, low mass and enabling systems. This event provides an insight to opportunities and capabilities within space, attracting discussion and exhibition of all facets of materials and processes.
