Medica 2016: the world's largest event for the medical sector
Medica takes place every year in November in Dusseldorf, Germany and attracts more than 5,100 exhibitors from 70 countries in 17 halls.

The UK is always present with 3 pavilions focused on medical technology companies including groups from Medilink Yorkshire and Humber, Invest Northern Ireland and Scottish Development International.
This year 17 officers of the Department for International Trade (DIT) from all over the world attended this event to share valuable insights from their markets, accompanied in some cases by key stakeholders.
DIT Director in Cuba, Alina Niebla attended this event with Cuban delegates from the biotechnology sector. She stated:
