Minister for Europe welcomes OSCE agreement on Serbian elections
Foreign Office Minister David Lidington described the agreement to facilitate voting by Serbia's dual nationals living in Kosovo as an example of parties working in support of their citizens' interests.
Speaking today the Minister for Europe said:
“I welcome the agreement for the OSCE to facilitate voting by Serbia’s dual nationals living in Kosovo in Serbian Parliamentary and Presidential elections. This is a further example of both parties’ readiness to show flexibility and courage, and to work in support of their citizens’ interests. I remain concerned about the recent rise in tensions in Kosovo and therefore urge all parties to ensure voting can take place in a secure and stable environment.”
