Mutoral II for feline chronic gingivostomatitis (FCGS) seized
Non-UK authorised medicine seized at East Midlands Airport.
A package containing a non-UK authorised medicine was identified by a courier company based at a depot at East Midlands Airport.
The package arrived from Italy containing medicine destined for a residential address in West Yorkshire.
The medicine was detained and subsequently seized by an inspector.
The following medicine was seized:
- 4 x boxes of Mutoral II (Mutian) for FCGS 100mg for cats
This product was intended for use in cats and is not an authorised veterinary medicine in the UK.
The medicine was seized under Regulation 25(1) (Importation of an unauthorised veterinary medicinal product) of the Veterinary Medicines Regulations 2013 (as amended).
