Group Captain Justin Fowler

Group Captain Justin Fowler has started his role as the first resident UK Defence Attaché to Belgium and Luxembourg for more than 10 years.

The countries were previously covered by the Defence Attaché in the Netherlands.

Group Captain Justin Fowler said:

I am delighted and honoured to be here and my arrival underlines the importance the UK places on our relationships with our key defence partners; particularly with Belgium and Luxembourg, who, like the UK, were founding members of NATO.

Our countries are great partners and I am looking forward to working closely with the Belgian and Luxembourg Defence Forces to find further ways to tighten our relationship through increased coordination, enhanced interoperability and mutual support for each other’s priorities. Working together we can strengthen global, European and national security.
