New enforcement intelligence database and changes to online reporting
Details of a new VMD Intelligence Unit and anonymous reporting.
Following a review of our enforcement processes we are implementing a more targeted approach to handling the information we receive.
Our new Intelligence Unit will be supported by a new database, Clue, to proactively utilise the many sources of information we receive.
Clue is a central platform used by many other enforcement agencies for managing investigations, and enables us to interrogate and disseminate intelligence with our regulatory partners in a secure environment.
Launched on 9 June, this site will host a new online reporting form, allowing complete anonymity if required.
A new ‘hot-line’ telephone number – 01932 338338, is also available for anonymous reporting of suspected incidence of a breach of the Veterinary Medicines Regulations.
Details and guidance for the reporting line and webform can be found under Report a problem.
