Laundry and linen agreement will help the public sector make substantial savings.

The Crown Commercial Service (CCS) has launched a new Laundry and Linen Services agreement to provide public sector customers with easy access to a flexible, compliant route to market.

Developed in collaboration with NHS trusts and police forces, the agreement is focused on achieving the best value whole life cost and is expected to help customers make substantial savings.

Nick Caton, Commercial Director of the CCS Buildings Category, commented: “There’s a great range of suppliers on the agreement, over 35% of whom are small and medium sized businesses, encouraging innovation and increased competition to maximise value for the taxpayer.”

Dave Wharton, Head of Construction at CCS, added: “We will be working with the successful suppliers to help our customers, most of whom are NHS trusts, make cost savings and identify opportunities that could help them save even more.”
