New OISC Code of Standards now live

The OISC's new Code of Standards came into effect on Sunday 1 September 2024.

The Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner’s new Code of Standards has now come into effect.

The new Code – which sets the standards of conduct that are expected to be met by regulated advisers and regulated organisations – is accompanied by guidance notes. The guidance notes are intended to assist with the interpretation of the new codes and help regulated organisations to understand how the new principles and codes will operate.

Work completed prior to 1 September 2024 will continue to be subject to the 2016 Code of Standards.
