140 UK oil and gas supply chain companies’ expertise showcased in new oil and gas directory for Korean market
The British Embassy Seoul and Busan City Government co-hosted a launch event for a new UK oil and gas supply chain directory in Busan, South Korea on Friday 18 March. The directory is a joint project between the British Embassy Seoul and NOF Energy to provide details of first class UK products, services and expertise in the oil and gas sector.
Speaking at the event, British Embassy Seoul Deputy Ambassador, Sue Kinoshita said:
I am delighted to be here in Busan at the launch of a UK oil and gas supply chain directory. The UK energy industry is world-renowned for its first-class products, services and expertise. South Korea continues to lead the world in shipbuilding with this city of Busan a centre of excellence for the industry.
We hope this directory will allow UK companies to access the incredible potential of the Korean market while helping Korean companies reduce overall project costs. Together we will build on the already strong UK-Korea offshore engineering partnership.
Oil and gas directory
The directory includes contact details and information about 140 UK oil and gas supply chain companies.
The aim of the directory is to underline to South Korean companies the skills and capabilities of British offshore engineering companies. Thereby helping Korean firms secure partnerships which will help reduce project costs and increase efficiency.
