New UK Visa Application Centre in Ho Chi Minh City opens
The new UK visa application centre in Ho Chi Minh City is now open and will accept all categories of UK visa applications.

The application centre is run by VFS Global, the UK Border Agency’s commercial partner in South East Asia. If you wish to use this service you will be asked to pay an additional service fee of VND1,680,000 as well as the normal visa application fee. You will however, still be able to apply at the British Embassy in Hanoi without paying an additional fee, as now, if you wish.
The Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City no longer accepts any visa applications.
