The car sharing option gives customers access to a shared fleet of vehicles, along with pay as you go models, which have been shown to save 20-30% in mileage, whilst also supporting the move away from the use of private vehicles.
The agreement, which is anticipated to save customers over £19 million, offers a choice of 12 suppliers. 6 are new to the vehicle hire agreement and 2 are small and medium sized businesses: Co-Wheels Car Club Community Interest Company and Nexus Vehicle Management Ltd.
