New Visa Application Center official opens in Danang
The new Visa Application Center will make it easier for those from Central Vietnam to apply for their visas and visit the UK.
British Deputy Head of Mission to Vietnam Stephen Lysaght formally opened the new Visa Application Center in Danang on 13 December.
The Center makes it easier for those in Central Vietnam to apply for their visas and visit the UK. Instead of having to travel to Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, visa applicants can now just visit the VAC in Hai Chau Ward, Da Nang.
The British Deputy Head of Mission Steph Lysaght said at the inauguration:
I am delighted to be formally inaugurating this new Visa Application Center in Danang and hope that the visa center will encourage more visitors from Central Vietnam to come to the UK.
The British Government is committed to improving the visa service in Vietnam. As well as the new Application Center, this year we have introduced a new online application process, which is quicker and more simple and also available in Vietnamese. There’s never been a better time for people from all over Vietnam but Central Vietnam in particular to visit the UK.
Customers using the new Visa Application Center will need to pay a fee of £55 on top of the cost of the visa.
