New visa procedures for Qatari students

Qatar nationals applying for a PBS Tier 4 Student visa are no longer required to attend a video conference interview at the VAC.

Following changes to the UK Immigration Rules, Qatar nationals applying for a PBS Tier 4 Student visa are no longer required to attend a video conference interview at the Visa Application Centre.

As a result Qatar nationals should now select the ‘PBS Tier 4 Student (Qatar nationals only)’ appointment option (from 9am to 4pm daily).

Alternatively appointments in the premium lounge (from 9am to 4pm daily) or prime time (from 8am to 9am and 4pm to 6pm daily) may be selected. Premium lounge and prime time appointments are both subject to an additional charge.

UK Visas and Immigration may still require Qatar nationals to attend an interview at a later date.
